About Merolot
Merolot is an independent publication that calculates the sky first and narrates it second. Planetary positions are worked out astronomically; the interpretation layer is written on top of that calculation. This page explains who runs the publication, how the content is made, and where its limits are.
Who runs the publication
Merolot was founded and is run by an independent publisher — a single individual — and the site appears under the name Merolot. That publisher carries editorial responsibility for everything published here. The electronic channel for every question, request and correction report is [email protected]; the form on the contact page reaches the same inbox.
Merolot is not a consultancy: it offers no telephone or in-person life coaching, no fortune-telling and no one-to-one advisory service. Everything we produce is written content published on this site and in the mobile app.
Editorial policy
Content passes through two separate layers. The lower layer is a deterministic calculation engine: from a birth date, time and place it produces planetary positions, house cusps and aspects. That layer does not interpret, it only calculates, and the same input always yields the same output. The upper layer is the narration of that calculation.
Before a page goes live we verify the output of the calculation layer; the narration layer can only relay what was calculated and cannot invent data of its own. If you find a line you believe is wrong, report it to [email protected] with the page address and we will verify the record and correct it.
How we use AI
We say this plainly: large language models are used to produce the interpretation text on this site. The model's job, however, is not to do astrology but to narrate what has already been calculated. Which planet sits in which sign and house, and which aspect is formed, is never asked of the model — it comes from the engine.
Keeping the calculation and narration layers apart is deliberate. The separation means the things a language model could plausibly invent — a position, a date, a degree — are never left to the model's judgement; its only freedom is turning a verified table into readable prose.
What this content does not claim
Astrology and tarot content is published for entertainment and personal reflection. It is not a scientific instrument of prediction and it makes no verifiable claim about the future. The astronomical calculation behind a birth chart is a measurable fact; the meaning attached to that calculation is an interpretive tradition.
Merolot content is not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. If you are making a decision about your health, your relationships, your money or your legal position, consult a qualified professional in that field. None of our pages is written to serve as the basis for such a decision.
