How to read three cards
A three card tarot spread reads one subject across past, present and possible outcome. The cards do not describe a fixed fate: they show what the situation is carrying forward, where it stands now, and which way it may travel if the present course holds.
The first card holds what the situation carries from before, the second describes where it stands today, and the third is the direction it leans if nothing changes.
- Write one open question about a single subject.
- Read the cards left to right, each one against its position.
- Treat the third card as a tendency, not as a verdict.
What tarot does and does not do
Tarot can help you think through a situation in images; it cannot read another person's mind, prove a fixed future, or stand in for medical, legal or financial expertise. Treat the reading as a way to ask a better question, not as a decision.
