Swords are fourteen cards carrying the element of air: thought, decision, conflict. The run from Ace to King tells the road from an idea's clarity to owning its cost.
The order follows the traditional sequence: each suit opens with the Ace and closes with the Page, Knight, Queen and King. Web spreads never use reversed cards, so the keywords belong to the upright meaning.
